Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has achieved another major career milestone as his hit single Lonely At The Top has been officially certified Silver in the United Kingdom (UK).
The track, a standout from his critically acclaimed album Work of Art, has captivated audiences worldwide, solidifying its place as one of the biggest Afrobeats songs of the moment.
The Silver certification, awarded by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), signifies that Lonely At The Top has surpassed 200,000 units in sales across the UK. The song’s introspective lyrics and smooth, melodic production have resonated deeply with listeners, exploring the isolation that often accompanies success.
As Lonely At The Top is certified Silver in UK, this achievement solidifies the fact that Asake is one of Afrobeats’ leading voices on the global stage. With the genre continuing to gain international recognition, his success highlights the growing influence of Nigerian music and paves the way for even greater accomplishments in the future.
